Aggressive Trial Attorney With a Reputation for Success

In Florida you may be able to get a hardship license in order to drive to and from work, to and from school, to or from medical visits, and to and from your child care facility.
If your driver's license has been suspended, if you have received a DUI, or if you are a habitual traffic offender (HTO), you may be eligible to receive a hardship license.
If you are a habitual traffic offender (HTO), you must wait one (1) year from the effective date of the HTO suspension. After that, you must complete a DHSMV approved Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) course.
Search online in order to find approved ADI courses. Most of these courses are 12 hours and can be completed online.
Once you have waited one year and complete the ADI course, you may apply for a hardship license hearing at your local DHSMV Administrative Review Bureau.
As a criminal defense attorney, I assist clients in hardship license matters all of the time. I would be happy to assist you as well.
If you received a DUI, your license will be suspended unless you schedule an administrative hearing within 10 days of your arrest. At this hearing, your criminal attorney can subpoena the arresting police officer. If the administrative hearing officer finds no probable cause for DUI, your suspension will be invalidated and your driving privilege will be restored.
However, if you pleaded no contest to DUI or were unsuccessful at your administrative hearing, you may be eligible for a hardship license provided you complete DUI school. Again, I assist my clients with these matters as well.
As a former Miami-Dade prosecutor, I know that many people are arrested daily in Miami-Dade and Broward County for driving with a suspended license. Don't go to jail over your driver's license! Get your hardship license so that you can drive to work, to school, or to your medical or child-care appointments without fear of being arrested.
