Boca Raton Police Chase Suspected Car Burglars
The
Sun Sentinel reported that a large scale operation was in effect to catch suspected car burglars in Boca Raton.
Police had been watching a business parking lot after getting reports of a series of car burglaries. It was there that police allegedly watched as the two suspects tried to take some personal belongings from a parked car.
When police moved in, the two suspects reportedly fled.
A police boat took one of the suspects into custody as he swam away in the Intracoastal Waterway. K9 officers tracked the other suspect.
