Man Arrested And Charged With DUI Manslaughter In Fatal Miami Crash

A Miami man was arrested and charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter for the deaths of two patrons standing outside of Jumbo's Restaurant on NW 7th Avenue and NW 75th Street in Miami.
It is alleged that the accused lost control of his SUV and crashed into the restaurant, killing the two patrons.
Police allegedly found a half-empty bottle of brandy inside of the accused's car. The accused also reportedly failed field sobriety tests (roadside tests) and had a blood-alcohol reading of .253. The legal limit in the State of Florida is .08.
Each count of DUI manslaughter carries a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. The accused is being held on a $30,000 bond.
