A young woman who allegedly has a history of drug abuse has been arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter for a fatal crash that occurred in the Kendale Lakes neighborhood of Miami-Dade County.
The Miami-Dade Police Department alleges that the 25-year old woman was involved in two crashes on the date of incident. The woman allegedly confessed to police that she was a recovering addict and had taken alcohol and other drugs prior to driving.
The woman is being held in jail on a $30,000 bond on charges of DUI manslaughter and misdemeanor DUI.
