Police officers searched a Hollywood neighborhood for two suspects Tuesday after a police chase on Interstate 95.

A high-speed police chase on I-95 ended around Hollywood Boulevard. It is unclear why police were chasing the vehicle.

Two people were taken into custody after the crash, and officers continued to search for two more people.

A high-speed chase where police are following a car with their lights and sirens activated can be classified as aggravated fleeing and eluding. Aggravated fleeing and eluding is a second-degree felony punishable by a maximum of 15 years in prison.

Fleeing and eluding, by itself (not aggravated) is a third-degree felony punishable by a maximum of 5 years in prison.

Fleeing and eluding carries a mandatory conviction (adjudication) and a mandatory one-year driver's license suspension.
