A Deerfield Beach man has been charged with child neglect after a fire broke out in his home, injuring a young child.
BSO was investigating a fire at a mobile home when they discovered a 14-year old boy living who weighed about 85 pounds.
Blood tests also revealed narcotics in the child's system.
The 47-year old accused was arrested and transferred to the Broward County Jail.
