Police in Miami-Dade County and Broward County have arrested a total of five suspects in what is believed to be a multi-county burglary ring.

Two of the five suspects were arrested in Miami after a Toys R' Us burglary. The remaining three suspects were arrested on suspicion of having committed a burglary at a GameStop in Miramar.

Burglary of a store is known as burglary of an unoccupied structure. This crime is a third-degree felony in the State of Florida, carrying a maximum sentence of five years in state prison.

Burglary of a structure is not the only charge you can face. You may face additional charges for damage done to the store, as well as charges for the theft of any items stolen. Additional charges may follow if the prosecution can prove that you sold the stolen items.
