News outlets are repoting that City of Miami police officers are searching for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash.
The crash happened at Southwest 20th Avenue and 1st Street in Miami.
According to Miami police, a woman was walking when she was hit from behind by a Toyota pickup truck. The truck also hit a parked car.
The woman later died at the hospital.
Witness accounts allege that the driver got out of his car and left the scene.
Leaving the scene of an accident where a death occurs is a first degree felony punishable by a maximum of 30 years in prison.
