Two Men Face Felony Charges For Tri-County Chase

Aggressive Trial Attorney With a Reputation for Success
|

Two men are facing serious felony charges after leading police on a chase that began in Miami-Dade County and ended in Boynton Beach, where the driver crashed into a retaining wall and tried to escape on foot.

The driver is being held on a $25,000 bond for charges including: aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer (2 counts); aggravated fleeing and eluding (high rate of speed); resisting an officer with violence; and grand theft of a vehicle while armed.

The passenger was charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and has bonded out of jail.

The passenger will not face fleeing and eluding charges since he was not in control of the car.

The two men were suspected of being involved in a robbery, which was the reason for the initial traffic stop.

Eric Matheny is a Miami fleeing and eluding lawyer and Broward fleeing and eluding lawyer.
