Hialeah Woman Accused of Organized Fraud Against Elderly

Aggressive Trial Attorney With a Reputation for Success

A Hialeah woman has been arrested and is accused of exploiting several elderly victims.

Police arrested the 38-year-old accused after they say she scammed a number of victims out of hundreds of dollars.

Investigators said, the accused sold what victims believed to be expensive life-saving medications. The "medications" were only vitamins.

The accused is being held on several counts of grand theft, organized scheme to defraud, and exploiting the elderly.

Each count of grand theft carries a maximum of 5 years in prison, as does each count of organized scheme to defraud. As well, since each single count carries a $5,000 bond, the accused woman may remain in custody unless a criminal defense attorney is able to get her bond reduced.
