After two months of being shutdown due to COVID-19, Palm Beach County is among 65 other Florida counties to begin a slow, gradual reopening today.
Miami-Dade County and Broward County are not included in this first phase of reopening Florida.
Palm Beach County facilities, such as barbershops and salons will reopen today at limited capacity. Restaurants will open as well, but will only seat 25% of its usual dining capacity and will utilize proper precautionary and social distancing measures.
The reopening of Palm Beach County means that with people going out and congregating again, police will be out and arrests may resume. Disorderly conduct, theft, battery, and other crimes are some that may be likely to occur given the fact that people will be out in larger groups than we've seen in the past two months, and alcohol will most certainly be consumed.
Beware of DUIs and DUI enforcement.
